She was along with Naomi Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes, Summer Rae and Summer Rae in July 2014 to face Nikki Bella in an uninvolved six-on-one match. However, she only was on stage to fight Nikki and Naomi. In the Battleground's pre-show, she had the opportunity to play Naomi. Ariana defeated Naomi during the contest. The result was that they began competing. Through the their summer season, they participated with handicapped matches, as well as tag teams.
