Ann Curry

Ann Curry, an American journalist and photojournalist who has reported on natural and war-related disasters for over 45 years, focuses on the human suffering suffered by people living in these regions. Curry has written about the wars in Kosovo Iraq Syria Lebanon Palestine Afghanistan Darfur Congo and the Central African Republic. Later, she moved into the post of anchor and reporter at KGW an NBC station in Portland, Oregan. After four years, she relocating back to Los Angeles as a reporter for KCBS-TV. The two Emmy Awards were won during the six years she worked for TV station KCBS.
