Donald Joseph Qualls better known by his screen name DJ Qualls was born in the USA. He is an actor, producer and model. After gaining fame through his role in Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films including The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. As well as appearing in Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs and Lost Law & Order, and several others. Qualls was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at age 14 and has been fighting it ever since. The cancer had gone into remission after 2 years. However, the treatment at this early stage left severe impact on his body, and hindered the development of his body. The financial security was his first objective once he began because he had experienced poverty all through his childhood. I've lived such a low-cost lifestyle over the years that I need to have that financial security or my life feels out of control for me he stated in an interview. In the course of an interview the actor also discusses his own growing up. The goal of his is to stop bullies. The fact that cruel acts break his heart. In real life and on film, DJ's character would like to play a father. He admits that Directors do not cast me in those roles. He would like to become a dad one day, so he can devote more time to his son and not be so occupied with his work.
